A life long resident of Cleveland, Captain Sam often fishes with other charter captains throughout western, central and eastern basins of Lake Erie. When he is not fishing locally, Captain Sam travels across the United States fishing for a wide variety of fish, including Sturgeon, Alligator Gar, Blue Catfish, King Salmon, Musky, Small Mouth Bass and Trout. His favorite activities include fishing, taking kids fishing, helping customers catch their personal best (PB) ,12 volt electronics and custom fabrication. Many features on the Angry Floater fishing boats were either designed or installed by Captain Sam. Besides his passion for fishing as described above, he likes his job and spending time with his family..
Had a nice little 1 on 1 trip with my son, Garret, hitting up the big lake Erie on a Day Night Double Header. Sam put us on so many walleye we actually were overwhelmed at times with 5 of 6 poles having fish on!
If you ever need to book a trip check him out Angry Floater Fishing. Sam did a great job hosting us and making sure we had plenty of action. He not only knows the areas inside and out, but he works hard to make sure everyone is having a good time. From boat snacks to drinks (if you forgot yours in the truck). What a great time!.Damon (client)
I fished for Channel Catfish and it was great. I was suppose to fish for Smallmouth Bass, but Lake Erie was too ruff to fish. Sam saved my trip by moving me to a channel catfish trip and it was fantastic. I have a new respect for catfish and a sore arm from reeling the big ones in.Eric (client)
The Angry Floater catfish trip on Sandusky Bay may be my favorite fishing trip of all time. My family and I got rained out from going to Cedar Point amusement park and we decided to try the Channel Catfish charter. It was a blast. At the end of the trip, the fish counter proclaimed we caught 44 fish. My kids will never forget this trip.Jennifer (smartest mom in the world)
